The Steering Committee has decided to schedule the next meeting of Walk Ottawa on Monday, February 3, 2014, 7pm in the Richmond Room (turn right at the top of the stairs from Lisgar). Date: Friday, October 25, 2013 Time: 1:00 p.m. Location: Woodroffe and Knightsbridge, south-east corner By Transit: Route 87, bus stop at this corner. As you may be aware, an elderly woman was struck and killed last week while walking near the intersection of Woodroffe and Knightsbridge in the west end of the City, near Carlingwood. There are some important milestones coming up which were discussed at last week’s meeting: 1. Updates to Transportation Master Plan (TMP) and Ottawa Pedestrian Plan (OPP) Wednesday, October 9: These two plans will be tabled (i.e. released) at a joint meeting of Transportation Committee and Transit Commission.
